Our client is a leading media and entertainment company in Nigeria, requires a Group head Human resources who will be responsible for the following roles:
* Create, modify and implement a human resource strategy that is aligned to the company’s business strategy & business environment enhancing the current and future human resource value proposition
* Responsible for planning of the department in terms of budget setting.
* Establish EPMS and promote performance culture.
* Works with all HR managers to develop and implement a comprehensive, integrated and effective Human Resource Management Framework (systems, policies, procedures) covering: Human Resources Policies, Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Selection and Deployment, Performance and Reward Management, Training and Human Performance Improvement.
* Oversee the implementation of specific capability and human performance improvement initiatives or programs (e.g. Leadership Development) for improving individual and organizational performance capacity and potential to achieve business results.
* Drive efforts to build a high performing team of leaders with thorough understanding and appreciation of HR operations, execution excellence, and people development requirements in forging the emergence of the company’s as the leading entertainment provider and employer of choice.
*Establish and obtain board approval for organisational structure that facilitates achievement of business objectives.
* Lead efforts around the development of a competitive corporate culture and system of values across the company through well defined, properly structured and delivered culture change programs across the entire organization.
* Identify, build and manage relationships with high-value external Human Resource Management support organisations, in areas including Manpower Training and Development, Employee Relations, Compensation Strategy and Culture change
